very busy lah

so on friday
i went to church
for last rehearsal
and it was okay lah
but i don't know many people there
so a bit awkward lor!
but it was okay
i had to dance alone
cos eugenia was not there

then the little kids started to play and dance with the tamborine!
so nice you know
it is not just like playing it to the beat only leh
it is like got moves and like rhythms they play
don't play play ok!
very good
i was so impressed
wish GNK got this kind of thing
only chinese service can think of such nice things!

the other 2 could'nt keep up lah
so they look abit extra lor

so i only went back at about 9 plus

then on sat
it was big performance day!

but i like mind block halfway
and stayed in that dance position longer than
i actually was supposed to lah

everyone in the chinese service that was involved couldn't believe that
i was related to my mum
cos they thought i was somebody else's daughter!
they keep saying my mum so 'nian qing'
and everyone was so surprise

like first someone will ask my mum
whether it is real that i am her daughter
then my mum will be like of course!
and then they will be like really?!
i don't believe!

then my mum will be like it is true lah!

and then they will be like so surprised and shocked and bewildered!

so the dance went well i guess

was less nerve-racking
and my mum said that it was very coordinated

but the make-up was so uncomfortable!

i'm telling you
i am NEVER EVER going to wear make up
outside of dancing
especially lipstick man
so uncomfortable
wonder how my mum can stand it
i will go with the ALL NATURAL style

as if i ever had a style lah...
and Pastor Edmund's sermon was so so so funny
and very nice

but very taxing
and i had a very difficult time trying to get the mascara and all the other weird stuff

he preached very well
and he preached in GB camp
the 'RELATING TO MY FATHER' workshop
so very familar with him already

it was a small piece of liver in cooled wax!
so we cut it into super thin slices

today we had GB Flagday
and just like i told y'all and expected
i had to take MRT in my GB uniform!
urgh....
and when i was walking into the MRT station
EVERYONE was looking at me
there were like some office crowd waiting to cross the road
and you know what?!
this guy said "WHOA"
at me super duper loudly!
omg!

then we went UNITY SEC SCH
i had to drop at YEW TEE MRT and walk
at first i walked in the wrong direction
but thank God
i called Deb and asked her
or else if i had followed that GB girl from another COY
i would had walked blindlessly all the way to Malaysia and not know it!

make sure to look out for GB stickers on the floor
they are so NOT inconspicuous
and there's like a SEA of them

that they can drop from the people's clothing!
so i went jurong east with danielle and jeanette
and you know what?
we were so desperate and pathetic
that we stood outside FAIRPRICE
where all the AUNTIES and UNCLES shop
and made use of the fact that when the come out from the cashier
they will have loose change in their hands!
wow
how genius right?!
yeah right
so we collected pathetic change
and then occasionally there was a GENEROUS soul
who would give us 2 bucks
wow
and all the others were VERY VERY VERY
STINGY!

like they will say "no change"
but ah
when the walk away
you can seriously and obviously hear the jingling of change in their pockets!
and some
they will like take out coins and like there will the like 50cents and 1 dollar
but they will look very carefully through the coins and...

cheek cells and flourescent DNA

hey
so
ok
today was ok
a bit tiring
but at least we did'nt water plants
we went down to the 1st year students' lab
to join them for lecture and practical
on metosis and meiosis
i know
sounds weird
but very cool
it is actually about the division to cells
and you know the terms in Twilight?
the ones bella and edward say when they had biology?
yah
those are used in metosis and meiosis
like prophase and anaphase and metaphase and telophase!
haha
and then the we did the extraction of DNA from our cheeck cells
something like the bannana thing we did in Life Sciences this year
but with lesser steps
the only sick thing was that
we had to bite softly on our cheek over and over again
and then spit lots and lots of our own saliva containing the cells into the tube
and it was sticky when we handled it
i spit the most
haha
ooops
and then after we got our DNA
we coloured the ethanol with colours
so i mixed purple and blue
and it came out a very nice shade of blue
and my DNA looks like an iceberg in the ocean!
haha
nice
we also help to put the pipette tips into the containers
that means that we put every single one into the hole in the container
so fun!
then we went to POPULAR and had lunch at the foodcourt
i got a colourbase file for myself!
hurray!

but also guilty
after that we went to join the aqua culture students
in this super chic classroom cum lab thing
very nice
the roller stools and cupboards are like red
and everything else is like white
and the projecter screen comes down on its own
and so does this screen thing that blocks out the sun that is coming through the glass walls
cool!
anyway
we were supposed to disect fish
but sadly we could'nt
awww
but we watched a super long video
and i felt so so so so so sleepy
cos it went on and on
eventhough they actually show you how they do it
then we went to the lab
with the tanks
and saw all the fish
again
then we went back up to the tissue culture lab to do
the DAPI stain experiment
it is like super cool
we stain the DNA of animal cells
and the flouresed under UV light
how cool is that?
haha

so like now i am so bored
and my mum wants me to to go for flagday by MRT

and it seems that i am bound for life!

and come home like 5 plus cos by the time i get to the MRT
and wait and board and then take bus
i am super late
and tired out
and i would be so hungry cos i would not have eaten my lunch
so i will eat cold tabao food alone at home at 5 plus
so now cos my dance prac is over
cos performance is on this sat!(oh no!)
i can all the time in the world to go out with my family!!!!!!!!
